Carlos Sainz, who has very publicly proclaimed his love for the Spanish football team Real Madrid, seemed visibly dejected at the results of RM’s recent friendly match with another Spanish team and biggest rival Barcelona FC as he refused to sign a Barca t-shirt in a recent encounter with a fan in his own country. The Ferrari racer stayed true to his allegiance with Real Madrid as he asked the fan to take the shirt away while he was driving to someplace in his car.
The Ferrari racer has always been vocal about his support for Real Madrid as the Spaniard has claimed that football is one of his obsessions and he loves the sport almost as much as he loves Formula 1. Recently, a friendly match went down between his favorite team, Real Madrid, and Barcelona, and Carlos was upset as the latter scored a winning goal and defeated Real Madrid. After that, Carlos was seemingly sore from the loss and hence he could not bring himself to sign the Barcelona t-shirt that was given to him in a recent fan encounter.

Knowing Carlos Sainz’s craze for football, the Ferrari driver was upset due to the huge loss that Real Madrid succumbed to, after the Barcelona striker Raphinha scored the goal at the 27 minute mark. That was the only goal scored during the match as Real Madrid failed to get themselves an equaliser goal and hence they lost the game to Barcelona.
As Carlos Sainz was upset because of the game, he was apparently dejected to find one of his fans hand him a Barcelona t-shirt to sign in his home country in Spain. The #55 racer immediately said, “No, I’m not signing this.” And the video of the moment has since gone viral on social media and the internet is divided as people have put forward their opinions on whether Carlos’ move was justified or if he had come of as rude by denying his fan an autograph.
