Formula 1 2023 ended after some grueling racing sessions which saw Max Verstappen take the crown as a third-time World Champion and Red Bull take the trophy for the best Constructors on the grid. But another racer ended up having the best results of his career in the recently-ended season–Lando Norris. The McLaren racer did not manage to get a Grand Prix win, but he scored a whopping 7 podium finishes and ended up in P6, right behind Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc.
With Ferrari and Mercedes being considered two of the ‘big teams’ in Formula 1, their drivers Carlos Sainz and George Russell both failed to surpass Lando Norris in the Drivers’ Standings. This goes to show how brilliant the Briton has been in his papaya army car, and to celebrate all his achievements in 2023, he turned up in Bali with his friend DJ Martin Garrix for some fun during the New Year’s Eve. The duo had a great time deejaying at a nightclub, whose video has gone viral on social media. And then Garrix posted ‘postcard’-worthy photos from their Indonesia trip for the fans to fawn over.
In one of the first photos that Martin Garrix posted online, Lando Norris can be seen hanging out with the Dutch DJ on the edge of an infinity pool. The two young friends look fashionable in floral shirts, shorts, and wild sandals as they look at the camera through their black shades. Martin Garrix captioned the photo with “postcar from Bali” and he also tagged Lando Norris.

Dutch DJ Martin Garrix has amassed a huge wealth thanks to his successful sets and is now named one of the most powerful ones in his field in recent times. And thanks to this, he has made acquaintance with quite a few F1 drivers who are into his music such as Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. Max hails from the same country as Martin, and it is said that he is the one who introduced the DJ to Lando. Lando himself does indulge in his hoppy of deejaying at times, and thus it is no surprise that the two friends instantly clicked!
Last year, Lando Norris and Martin Garrix explored the Empire State Building in New York City together. And this time, they have travelled to Bali for some holiday fun before they have to get back to business. Lando Norris’ Boss Zak Brown has huge ambitions from his team and he recently admitted he wants the papaya army to become a ‘World Championship team’ again.

In case other news, Lando Norris recently posted a snap of him wearing a traditional Indonesian karung while on his trip to Bali. The fans gushed over how he looks stylish in the traditional costume and they even said he recembled Lewis Hamilton–the F1 racer that undoubtedly holds the title for being the most stylish around the paddocks.
