Watch: Lewis Hamilton in a ‘mad’ race with a Fighter Jet

Lewis Hamilton

Lewis Hamilton has crossed the limits of a stunt that is to be performed outside the boundaries of an F1 track. Teams do various advertisements and promotions to get their brand a name outside the track. Mercedes has its own way of performing a show outside the norms of normal F1 drivers before. They have already covered Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg’s very famous advertisements.

This time Lewis Hamilton had an amazing run with a Fighter Jet. Hamilton basically fought out a jet on a track and recorded the first view all by himself in his cockpit. Though it was very evident the jet won, Hamilton had the first blow by a brilliant pickup. Jet after a certain time did overtake the driver in his car.

But Lewis might have lost out to a Fighter Jet, he gave them a run for their money by following them on their back for pretty much throughout the straight track.

The 2022 season for Hamilton started off in a very unusual manner seeing him drop off in qualifying and later in a fight with a Haas. It went worse in Saudi and MIAMI. Hamilton was lapped by Max Verstappen at MIAMI which was very out of context considering the last season.

However, Lewis is not to be blamed for such a performance. Mercedes failed to build a car that could at least give Hamilton a chance to fight. Also, various testing and experiments did cause the driver.

As the season passed on, Mercedes did understand their car and worked their way to a solid P3 position on the championship table and also planned to compete with the P2 positioning team, Ferrari.

Lewis Hamilton is still left off from a win this season with more than four races to go. COTA could be a very good possibility for the Brit to climb the top of the podium on a track he already had the most wins.
