Seems like records aren’t the only things that are being broken by Red Bull Racing this season with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. The 2023 Belgian GP was a bit of a rollercoaster for Red Bull. The team came into the weekend with Max changing his gearbox leading to a five place grid penalty for sunday. This however did not stop the two time F1 world champ.

The sprint race had its own fair share of drama as Sergio Perez collided with Lewis Hamilton and had to retire from the race due to damage. However, things seemed to take a turn for the better in Sunday’s race for both the Red Bull drivers. Max and Checo finished first and second respectively at the Belgian GP grabbing all the highest trophies available. This in-fact called for their traditional celebration.

The Red Bull squad gathered around for a picture with the constructors trophy, P1 and P2 trophy. When the team started running in all directions, one person accidentally knocked over a board that fell on the constructors trophy which in turn toppled and broke into pieces. However, this wasn’t the first time that a trophy earned by Red Bull had broken and the credit goes to Lando Norris for that.

During the Hungarian GP podium ceremony, Lando Norris banged his bottle of sparkling wine on the podium leading to Max Verstappen’s trophy being shattered into pieces. Just one race later, another one of Red Bull’s trophies got destroyed and this time, it was their own fault. Here is how the fans reacted to the hilarious video.

For the last two races, Red Bull have been suffering from this problem. However, compared to the Hungarian GP trophy, the Belgium GP trophy is much easier to repair than expected. The team will be taking the trophy back to repair it. Max Verstappen’s reaction during the whole scenario was hilarious. With the Summer break underway, it will be interesting to see how the F1 drivers will be spending the month before the racing again in the Netherlands.
