The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend has been well underway. While the on-track action has been breathtaking, with drivers racking up insane speeds, Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton have been amusing the fans with a bit of their off-track shenanigans. Perez, just a few hours ago, caught Hamilton sleeping during the driver briefing and posted the hilarious video on his Instagram story.
Seeing the Mexican’s clever antics, Lewis Hamilton joined the fun by resharing Perez’s story and writing ‘Beauty Sleep.’ Since landing in Las Vegas, the sleeping schedules of almost everyone involved with the sport have been everywhere for several reasons.
The various sessions of the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix are being run at very peculiar timings, and thus, several people in the F1 paddock are finding it tough to cope with it. During the recent drivers briefing, Perez had the best view of Lewis Hamilton, and seeing the Brit dozing off, he just was not able to resist capturing the fun moment.

Their online back-and-forth tussle has been making immense noise, and people have been having a great time seeing the two veterans of the pinnacle of motor racing having a fun tussle. Such moments go a long way in keeping the atmosphere in the F1 paddock light and breezy, especially during stressful F1 events.
Sergio Perez could come up with a major surprise during the Las Vegas GP
While Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton have had a bit of their fun outside of the Las Vegas F1 track, the former could pull out a mega performance at the event. Perez has a well-known reputation for being good around street circuits, and he also has the car to do something special.
The RB19 has proved to be an absolute beast this year, and none of the other teams have been able to come up with a solution against it. While the Mexican has had a pretty up-and-down 2023 season so far, he has a brilliant outing during the all-important Brazilian Grand Prix.
Wow, it was such a long day, but glad that they finally sorted out the track issues in the end. Now, time to rest because in a few hours we need to be ready for qualifying.

If Sergio Perez can channel some of his confidence from Sao Paulo to the ongoing Las Vegas GP weekend, he could really come up with the goods and be pretty close to his teammate, Max Verstappen. The upcoming qualifying session will be very important from Perez’s point of view.
