Watch : “What the f**k are you guys saying?” Max Verstappen goes on a radio outburst as his Singapore GP qualifying ends abruptly

After almost a month of an absence from racing, F1 is back at it starting with the Singapore GP race weekend. It is an extremely special race for Max Verstappen as he could potentially secure his second world championship at this track alone. Although there have been a few hiccups in qualifying that have led to this feat becoming a bit impossible to achieve. The Singapore GP qualifying was a wet/ dry session and had plenty of drama attached to it.

At the start of Q1, the drivers opted for inters and slowly went through the track whilst touching a barrier once in a while. Max Verstappen showed that he had the pace to fight for pole but fate did not plan it for him. Teams started using slick tyres at the end of the session as the track had dried up. Charles and Max along with Lewis looked to be in line for pole until tragedy struck the Red Bull driver in the last two laps.

Max Verstappen had 2 out of 3 purple sectors on his penultimate lap but had to back off as the team told him to push even harder for the next lap. The driver did so and was on a decent lap until the last corner where he was asked to bring his car into the pits. This made Max furious and he made his thoughts clear on the team radio as he missed out on a potential pole position or a front row start. Here is how the fans reacted to it.

What a costly mistake it has proven to be for Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen. It effectively means that the Dutch driver will be starting tomorrow’s race in 8th place while his teammate will be on the front row. All is to play for as one driver tries to delay the other driver from winning the title while the other driver does everything in his power to win the title tomorrow itself.
