“We don’t want you, F**k off,” Toto Wolff’s brutal response toward idiotic behavior of fans at Red Bull Ring
Toto Wolff
Toto Wolff the Mercedes team Principal after the Austrian Grand Prix has come up with a message for those people who were involved in throwing racial-homophobic slurs toward women at the circuit. Moreover has asked them to stay home so that they don’t ruin the mood of people who come to races with the intent of enjoying the action on the track.
It was not only about the racial slurs, but women were also sexually harassed during the race and Toto even got one of the victims into his garage to watch the race.
Ahead of today’s race, social media was dominated by women giving their views about the ill-treatment of them by people on the circuit and after their Tweets went viral, the hierarchy at F1 immediately jumped into action and condemned the idiotic behavior of the culprits by saying, “This kind of behavior is unacceptable and will not be tolerated”.
After the Grand Prix Wolff also talked about the disturbing incidents and said, “If you are a real Formula 1 fan, whatever team, whatever driver, you can’t be a racist and you can’t be homophobic, you can’t be sexist because you don’t fit F1, and we don’t want you.”
“On the other side, we need to be careful that there are a few drunk dumbasses out there that haven’t comprehended how the world goes today, we shouldn’t condemn the 99.9% of fans that come here.“

Toto Wolff was not happy after hearing how women were treated in the stands
Toto Wolff just like many people all across the globe was disappointed after knowing about the incidents during the Austrian GP and further added, “There is always going to be these idiots around, I hope we provided a good show for the rest.”
“You need to report them [the perpetrators] to the security if you can and [they should] read my sentence – ‘we don’t want you, f*** off’.”
The scenes at the Red Bull Ring were horrible and the woman that was brought into the Mercedes garage was sexually abused by the people as her skirt was pulled up for being a Lewis Hamilton fan.
“We found out this has happened and that’s just not on,” Wolff explained.
Lewis Hamilton was stunned after seeing the level to which people could stoop down and deemed the incident as “just really sad.” The Brit while giving his views said, “Just to know that someone sitting in a crowd supporting someone else is receiving abuse is, it’s crazy to think that we’re experiencing these things still in 2022.”
“We have to continue to do more, it just highlights that it’s still an issue all over, and it comes down to education We all have to work together, with our platforms, to spread that positive word with all of our platforms to all those people that are watching.”
“People that come here should feel safe, should feel included, and should be able to follow whoever it is you want to follow – and it shouldn’t matter your gender, your sexuality, the color of your skin. It just should be everyone here to have a great time.”
George Russell also talked about the irresponsible actions of people and said, “more needs to be done to stop this kind of behavior, it’s horrifying to hear.”
Max Verstappen also had a few things to get off his chest about the sexual harassment of women at the Red Bull Ring and said, “I read a few things, a few shocking things.”
“And that’s clearly not OK and I shouldn’t even need to say this, I think this should be a general understanding, that these things shouldn’t happen, a normal human being I think should think like that and should behave like that.”
People up and down the paddock were in complete shock after hearing about what went on in the stands and everyone condemned the actions of people who were involved in abusing women trackside.
Formula One is a sport that brings people together and to see women getting bullied or abused in any way is not good for anyone and it does not bring out the right message about the direction in which the sport intends to go.
What has happened during the three days at the Red Bull Ring is unfortunate and if possible, the culprits should be put in front of the law to accept the punishment that they deserve for their heinous actions.
