The first qualifying of the season was quite thrilling. It was an intense performance by the drivers. The pre-season testing, practice sessions and qualifying are successfully over. It is time for the race. The teams and fans hold their breath. The drivers are excited to be back on track and go racing in the desert.

Logan Sargeant, Kevin Magnussen, Oscar Piastri, Nyck de Vries and Pierre Gasly were eliminated in Q1. Lando Norris, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Yuki Tsunoda and  Alex Albon were eliminated in Q2. Nico Hulkenberg put his Haas through Q3 and will start P10. Esteban Ocon will start right ahead of him. Lance Stroll despite his accident made it to P8, the Mercedes boys, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will start P7 and P6. Fernando Alonso put his Aston Martin right after Ferrari. P5 is not too bad for the Spaniard.

Who won the 2023 Bahrain GP Pole?

Ferrari locked out the second row. This leaves Red Bull. Max Verstappen beat his teammate by 0.138s and bagged his 21st pole position in his career. It was the perfect day for him. He gave his father, Jos Verstappen the best 51st birthday gift by securing the pole position.  Red Bull is thrilled to start another season on the right foot.
