The McLaren F1 team has been on a mighty rise during the 2024 season. From Lando Norris‘ maiden win to Oscar Piastri‘s note-worthy rise among the top 20 F1 drivers, everything is going in the right direction for Andrea Stella and Co.

Several top personalities have showered huge praise on the Woking-based team and the latest to join that list is the 2016 champion Nico Rosberg. The German has taken note of their exploits and have deemed them as downright ‘magical.’

McLaren’s latest triumph came in Singapore where Norris pulled an insane 20-second lead over championship rival Max Verstappen.

They are on this amazing upward trajectory, out-pacing everybody and it is really magical to watch. It is amazing to have, but the whole team orders, and managing the drivers between themselves is not nice. It is not something fun to do because it is all about emotions and I hope that they are on top of that.

Rosberg, on one hand, has applauded the on-track might of the papaya outfit, but on the other, has urged Stella to get on top of the driver dynamics. Norris and Piastri have been at each other’s throats, especially during the second half of the 2024 season.

McLaren is only going to get ‘stronger and stronger’

While Nico Rosberg has deemed McLaren’s 2024 journey as magical, he also feels that there is no looking back for them. In his opinion, the Woking-based team is only going to get stronger and stronger until the end of the campaign.

Mclaren is currently 41 points ahead of Red Bull in the Constructors Championship.

It is a positive spiral because everybody is happy, that motivates you more to work even harder and better, so I think McLaren is just going to get stronger and stronger.

The MC38 has proved to be an out-and-out beast on the track this season. In Singapore, Lando Norris pulled a huge gap on the reigning world champion with ease and was able to disappear into the distance.

Keeping in view everything that has been discussed, the upcoming six rounds of the ongoing season will be a fascinating watch. Moreover, amidst McLaren’s ever-growing dominance, Stella recently revealed that they still have upgrades in the pipeline.
