Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes have had a roller coaster of a season in 2024. The seven-time world champion ended his 945-day winless streak earlier this year. However, Hamilton has continued to struggle on Saturdays. Now, the Briton expressed his joy after qualifying third for the Singapore GP.

The seven-time world champion highlighted that Qualifying sessions have been nothing short of a disaster for him this season. Lewis Hamilton pointed out that he has continued to work hard at every weekend to improve his one-lap pace.

Ah man, qualifying has been a disaster for me all year long. I'm been working and working and working to get myself back up there.

During the Qualifying session, Hamilton claimed that the W15 simply came alive. The 39-year-old managed to put his car in third place right behind polesitter Lando Norris and Max Verstappen. Although, the Briton admitted that there was a little more pace left, he was still happy with his performance.

I think with [tire] management we can maybe keep up with these guys, we'll give it everything.
