Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff expressed his optimizing of working with Max Verstappen by signing him ahead of Lewis Hamilton’s departure. Wolff has been actively trying this move throughout the year to convince Verstappen to join the Brackley-based team. However, at least for now it seems Verstappen has not decided to leave and committed to staying with Red Bull.
