Max Verstappen killed two birds with one stone at the Japanese GP, firstly he managed to win the race, and secondly, was also able to secure the coveted 2022 F1 World Champion.

Fans all over the world have gone mad after Max Verstappen’s triumph as the Dutchman has now equaled Fernando Alonso’s two World Championship records.

The Red Bull starlet has achieved this magnificent feat just at the age of 25 years and fans have taken no time in sharing their opinion on the matter via their Twitter handles.

Some of the fans have showered huge praise on Max Verstappen for equalling Fernando Alonso’s record and they have further indicated that, after his triumph, Max has become equal to the experienced 41-year-old.

While Max has received a lot of appreciation for his impressive feat, there have been quite a few fans who are not at all pleased with him being considered an equal to Fernando Alonso.

They have also shared their frustration on Twitter, and one such guy wrote, “Alonso is still the miles better driver.”

Max Verstappen came into the 2022 F1 season as the reigning F1 World Champion and on the back of it, has been able to blow the competition away. The Dutchman has shown supreme consistency in his RB18 and, on occasions, has been seen toying with the competition.

The current campaign is 17 rounds down, and the 25-year-old has already managed to win 12 races out of them. Moreover, as things stand, he has got his eyes set on equalling Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel’s record of 13 race wins in a year.

There are four races left in the season and Verstappen has every chance of not only equalling but also going past the two legends’ record.

The upcoming Grand Prix is going to take the F1 carnival from Japan to the United States and considering Max has secured the 2022 title, he is going to receive immense applause from the fans at Austin.
