Lewis Hamilton made his appreciation speech to Ferrari in Italian and shocked the entire crew present at the meeting.

Lewis Hamilton is all set to race for Ferrari in the 2025 season. The Briton has already been met with a lot of grandeur following his move. Hence, amidst the preparations, Hamilton shocked the crew after speaking Italian to showcase his appreciation.
Lewis Hamilton‘s first visit to Ferrari’s factory in Maranello was supported by a massive sea of fans. The 40-year-old’s move to the Scuderia is one of the biggest sporting news in the history of Formula 1. As a result, Hamilton decided to surprise the Italian crew and Charles Leclerc with his Italian speech.
In a private event with Ferrari, Hamilton noted his appreciation to the crew alongside Leclerc and Fred Vasseur. The Briton greeted in Italian as applauses emerged from the crowd present. The 40-year-old further thanked the people for the ‘warm welcome’. The seven-time champion also pointed out his contentment with racing for the Reds in the 2025 season.

Lando Norris labels Lewis Hamilton’s Ferrari move an ‘amazing story’
Lewis Hamilton finally might be able to catch up to the front of the pack with Ferrari in the 2025 season. This meant that Hamilton would race against the likes of Max Verstappen and Lando Norris at the forefront. Norris put forth his opinions on the 40-year-old’s move to the Italian constructor and racing against him.

Norris applauded Hamilton’s shocking switch to Ferrari after achieving a lot with Mercedes. The 25-year-old further resonated with the Briton’s decisions and claimed that he too would’ve made the same switch. Hence, the McLaren driver reckoned that the move was an ‘amazing story’ for the 40-year-old.
It’s a cool story for him, you know, to go to Ferrari, After everything he’s achieved, I think it’s a cool step. A lot of people said maybe it’s not the right thing to do, and so forth. But, yeah, I would probably do the same if I was in his position, you know. So, it looks cool, it’s good. It’s an amazing story for him.

The 2025 season would be highly exciting as multiple teams and drivers seem prepared to fight for the constructors’ championship. McLaren will have to showcase a similar development as the previous season to stay at the front.
