Aaron Ramsey’s agent rubbishes claims linking him back to Arsenal
Is Aaron Ramsey Linked to Arsenal?
Aaron Ramsey had spent 11 years from 2008-2019 with Arsenal before he joined Italy’s Old Lady at Turin. However Aaron Ramsey’s career at Juventus has not taken off as expected as the Welsh midfielder has got limited game time as he faces a torrid time in Turin.
With Aaron Ramsey away on national duty with Wales in EURO 2020, reports from Italy have linked him with a sensational move back to the London outfit where he established his career.
Aaron Ramsey’s agent speaks out against reports
According to reports by Calciomercato earlier this week claimed that Aaron Ramsey has received offers from two clubs namely Crystal Palace and West Ham. However it seemed that the Eagles and the Hammers are set to be disappointed as such offers “have not warmed Ramsey’s heart”, and that he would like to lower his wage and return ‘home’ to
Arsenal.
According to those reports Arsenal where looking to sign Ramsey for free, but Juventus were looking for some sort of compensation.
However David Baldwin, Aaron Ramsey’s agent emphatically denied such rumours saying there were no truth to it. He said: “I’m sorry but can you stop making things up, please. There is not a shred of truth in your tweet.”
When it was pointed out that that the story was reported by Calciomercato he quipped in saying: “Then just to be clear, neither his tweets [nor] the sources it came from are correct!”
Aaron Ramsey hadn’t had the best of times with Juventus since joining them in 2019. He made 30 appearances this season for Juventus scoring two goals and providing four assist. However he has only played 1543 minutes which roughly equals 17 games. He has been involved in just 110 mins in 14 fixtures for Juventus, which equals 8 minutes per match.
However he scored for Wales in the group stage of the EURO 2020 and is hoping that his performance at the tournament will put him back to relevance.
