Newcastle United and Premier League legend Alan Shearer has taken to his social media after Newcastle United delivered an impressive performance against Chelsea. Newcastle United has now climbed up to the third spot in the league table in what has been a scintillating start to the season.
Alan Shearer is a legend of the game and is the Premier League’s most prolific goalscorer having spent most of the part of his career at Newcastle. He couldn’t control his happiness after Newcastle beat Chelsea at St James’ Park and the situation looks even worse as the Blues have been winless in their last five Premier League matches.
Shearer couldn’t control his joy and been unable to hide his happiness after the 90 mins, he took to his Twitter bashing Chelsea and showed support for the Newcastle players. He wrote, “Get the f*** in @NUFC another very impressive performance, making Chelsea look very very average.”

Newcastle United have achieved the status of having the most expensive owners in the world but they have used their money very efficiently since then. They haven’t splashed the money as everyone would have expected and have made some cost-effective reasonable buys over the last two seasons.
This season they have brought in the talented Swede Alexander Isak and yet again relied on the present squad. Eddie Howe has completely changed the club taking them from a relegation-battling club to a title contender now. If Newcastle can make it to the top four at the end of the season, it won’t be long till we see the top players of the world wearing the famous black and white stripes.
