Chelsea Football Club host Christmas lunch for Christian Pulisic and team-mates
Chelsea players and staff including American captain, Christian Pulisic, gathered on Thursday for a celebratory lunch to be prepared for Tuesday’s match over Bournemouth. The players started their morning with a training program, based on the team’s official site before their come back to the field on December 27.
The players, in addition to several business employees who operate out of the Cobham training facility, were then given a treat to a classical Christmas feast. Chelsea boss Graham Potter was given the incentive to speak briefly before the meal to mirror his first handful of months at the team.
Chelsea players Édouard Mendy, Christian Pulisic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Tidjan Fofana, and others attended the Christmas lunch. The Chelsea players were given a chance to relax and party before they resume their Premier League matches.
The majority of all the players that played at the 2022 FIFA World Cup were present. Hakim Ziyech and Mateo Kovacic performed in the third-place game with Morocco and Croatia in the Qatar World Cup. Hence, they were not available for Chelsea’s celebratory lunch.
