Who are the 4 Manchester United stars invited to Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest Al-Nassr match?

Four Manchester United players have been invited to Al-Nassr by their former teammate and superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for a proper farewell. the 37-year-old’s contract was abruptly terminated under acrimonious circumstances back in November and he never got to have a fitting farewell with his “mates”.

After his controversial interview with Piers Morgan, Cristiano Ronaldo’s second spell at Old Trafford came to a heartbreaking conclusion. Ronaldo’s contract with Manchester United was terminated by mutual consent when he represented Portugal in the World Cup. Ronaldo made a significant financial move to the Middle East after leaving Old Trafford, as he was introduced by Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr earlier this month.

Ronaldo scored a brace in his first appearance in Saudi Arabia in an All-Star game against Lionel Messi’s Paris Saint-Germain.  However, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner could not score against Al-Ittihad on Thursday and was knocked out of Saudi Super Cup. Despite his problems in front of the goal, Ronaldo isenjoying life” in Saudi Arabia and has asked four of his closest ex-teammates to visit him. According to the Sun, Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Raphael Varane have all been requested to go to the Middle East to see the Portuguese superstar. Casemiro and Varane were Ronaldo’s teammates in Real Madrid whereas Fernandes is his compatriot.

If their schedules allow it, this might occur in Portugal, where Ronaldo is in the midst of purchasing a sizable property in Lisbon. The attacker claimed he hadn’t had a chance to say a proper goodbye to his United teammates because his departure happened shortly before Portugal’s World Cup campaign got underway. Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and  Raphael  Varane have all been contacted by Ronaldo to see if they’ll visit him soon. However, considering the Red Devils’ busy schedule of games, it could be challenging. As the only English team currently participating in four competitions, the Red Devils, might play as many as 70 games this season.

Al-Nassr crashed out of the Saudi Super Cup after losing 3-1 against Al-Ittihad on Thursday. After only 15 minutes, Romarinho had given Al-Ittihad the lead. Cristiano Ronaldo got a clear opportunity on goal in the first half but could not convert it. According to manager Garcia, the outcome may have been different if Ronaldo had not fumbled his lines at that vital time.

“One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo’s missed opportunity in the first half,” Garcia told reporters after the game.  Anderson Talisca’s 67th-minute goal could not offset Al Ittihad’s two first-half goals from Romarinho and Abderrazak Hamdallah. Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti added the third three minutes of stoppage time. The blame was not the only one that awaited the Portuguese star after the game. After the defeat, Al-Ittihad fans booed him as well. Al Nassr will be going to play AL Fateh in their next match on Friday.

Al-Ittihad supporters criticized Ronaldo while singing the name of Argentine superstar Lionel Messi after the game’s conclusion. A video of a stadium full of fans yelling “Messi, Messi” was shared on social media. Ronaldo had a few scoring chances during the semi-final game but could not capitalize since two rival defenders surrounded him. Al-Ittihad contained Ronaldo owing to man-marking, which proved crucial as they won the match.
