Dani Alves is currently in prison because of allegations of sexual assault and rape in Barcelona on the night of December 30th, in the Sutton Nightclub. While the investigation is ongoing, Dani Alves’ current wife Joana Sanz deleted every picture of her with the ex Barcelona player on her Instagram account. A quick look into the Spanish model’s account, it was seen that every picture consisting of Dani Alves and her, smiling or hugging, has been deleted.
Joana Sanz did not gave any explanation on why the pictures were deleted, however considering the current situation her husband is facing it seems obvious that a formal statement will be announced soon. While the model demanded for privacy during the tough situation she is facing right now, her actions have led to people talking.
The Spanish model’s mother recently passed away, she went to Instagram to express her difficult situation, “My heart, can you please take this much pain?” Joana posted on her Instagram just hours after losing her mother, and her husband in prison due to the allegation.

Comments have surfaced, accusing her to be “an accomplice of a rapist” and having “little shame.” “Support you? Even those who are close to your husband for money don’t believe that,” another comment read.
Joana received hundreds of condemning messages after she deleted the pictures, as she seemed to become collateral damage. “Your husband is a rapist,” another message stated, taking aim at the model after her husband’s arrest.
All of this including the paparazzi swarming her residence to get the latest news has Joana Sanz demanding for privacy and empathy. “I kindly ask the media that is outside my house to respect my privacy at this time. My mom passed away a week ago. I’ve lost the only two pillars of my life, have a little empathy instead of looking so much news in someone else’s pain. Thank you,” Joana said.
