Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham agreed to let his son Romeo Beckham join the Premier League side Brentford B on a permanent deal. Romeo joined the Premier League side on a loan deal in January.
Romeo Beckham scored his first goal for Brentford B in February. He has reportedly been quite good with his performance on the field. And this has earned him a contract to extend his stay at the club.
According to reports, Brentford B has offered Beckham a one-year contract. Reports claim that the club would pay a nominal fee to complete the move. Although this move for Romeo means he would lose the chance to play with Lionel Messi in the same team. Messi is set to join Inter Miami in July as things are mostly set with just a few minor details left.
The boss of the English club, Neil MacFarlane talked about his opinion on Romeo’s impact at the club. He said, “He has been a pivotal member of what has been a special group this year. There will be a decision made on Romeo. I have no qualms about putting my name to him. I want to help his development again. I’d have no problem whatsoever if he was to stay here and we continue his development at Brentford”.
Another reason why he is keen on the move might be the reason that he would be living in London and would be close enough to his long-time partner Mia Regan. The couple has been reported dating for nine years.

Sergio Busquets in talks to join former-team mate at Inter Miami

Sergio Busquets is reportedly in talks to join former teammate Lionel Messi at MLS side Inter Miami. The former FC Barcelona captain decided not to renew his contract with the club once it expires on June 30.
There are quite a few destinations for the Spaniard after he announced his decision of leaving Barcelona. The most recent club to be Busquets’ potential destination is Inter Miami. Busquets will be a great addition to the David Beckham co-owned club.
According to sources, Busquets is in talks with the club for a possible move. The prospect of playing with the Argentine at the same club might be the motivation for Busquets.
Busquets is said to be in talks with the Saudi sides Al Nassr and Al Hilal for a potential move as well. Although nothing is concrete as of now, sources suggest that Busquets might soon choose his next club.
