Gerard Pique, a Barcelona legend, is considering taking legal action against Shakira after being tired of criticism since his alleged infidelity and break-up with the Colombian superstar. He has been continuously attacked on social media after their separation and all tracks released by Shakira were aimed at her former partner adding fuel to the fire.
His parents also have not been spared as they are also involved in the attacks along with his current girlfriend, Clara Chia. Though he has been enduring this for a long time, he does not want his family to be involved therefore taking the decision to promote legal action.
Clara Chia was hospitalized a few months ago due to an anxiety attack and reports mentioned that it was due to the pressure she had to have an affair with Pique. “ It is true that he turned grief, pain and frustration into humor in front of the media , a musical persecution of his ex-partner, but he has made the decision not to overlook the fact that the family is used again to try to generate even more hatred and media confrontation”, commented journalist Saúl from Telecinco.
The Spanish football legend also intends to do this quietly, as he does not want any more confrontation. He is reportedly tired of people following him around the streets of Barcelona. A few days ago, he almost ran over a journalist with his car in anger.

Is Georgina Rodriguez taking Pique’s side against Shakira?
Georgina Rodriguez, mostly known for being the girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo has caused a stir on social media. She is now taking life at Al-Nassr and is still getting used to Saudi Arabia. She regularly updates her activities through posts and one such post has created headlines.
The interesting thing about the post was the fact that the model was seen wearing a Casio watch. This brand of watch was talked about by everyone when Shakira released her ‘BZRP Music Sessions #53‘ with Bizarrap, in which she hit out at her ex Gerard Pique. In the song, there was one line in which the Colombian referred to Pique leaving her for Clara Chia as being like “changing a Rolex for a Casio”.
Pique replied by wearing a Casio watch and showing it in front of the media saying he received sponsorship from Casio which they later denied. Georgina also seems to be taking a dig at Shakira and supporting Pique but on the other hand, this could all be a coincidence and supporters might be just taking advantage of the situation.
