Shakira’s ex-partner Gerard Piqué reportedly sent death threats to a journalist when he asked him about Shakira’s new song. The Journalist claims Piqué also tried to run him over. News about Skakira’s separation from the retired defender has subjected public interest and has been causing quite some disputes now. Shakira has released three songs that berate Pique with some controversial lyrics
“(Pique) got my phone number and even called me saying I’m going to die, by the way, it’s not the first time.” reports the journalist. Pique has been subjected to controversies again after another report claims that he slept with a 22-year-old lawyer after he broke up with Shakira and within the early days of his relationship with his new girlfriend, Clara Chia.
Shakira has created several viral hits and broken records with her latest releases and recently became the first artist with multiple #1 hits on the global Spotify chart in 2023. The duos have been getting at each other’s throats for quite a while now and both generating innumerable views on social media platforms.

Pique’s family doesn’t agree with Shakira’s latest decision
It’s no secret that Shakira’s relationship with Piqué’s family is strained. However, Piqué’s parents have carried most of the awkwardness considering that they still live in the house next to their former daughter-in-law, but that situation is about to change because, according to some reports, Shakira will leave Spain in April.
The international pop star will move to Miami next month and will leave Barcelona behind for good. Unsurprisingly, she intends to bring her sons Milan and Sasha along to start a new life in the US.
The reports also claim that her former in-laws are against this decision because they consider it “outrageous” to think that the kids should leave their school in Barcelona two months before the end of the school year. They believe that Sasha and Milan should stay until the end of the year before going to the US.
