Incarcerated Dani Alves’s wife, Joana Sanz set to “log off” from social media due to constant online abuse
Following concerns for her mental health due to the recent allegations against her husband, Joana Sanz has decided to log off social media
Joana Sanz, the wife of Brazilian National team icon, Dani Alves, has announced her withdrawal from social media, following concerns for her mental health due to the recent allegations against her husband. With the former defender behind bars in Barcelona and the amount of attention she has been receiving, the supermodel has shared a note on social media detailing her decision.
“Given the media harassment to which I am subjected, I have decided to stop using my social media,” the supermodel said in a statement published on Instagram. She continued, “I hope all this stops because it is affecting my mental health and my social life. I’m not a person who lives for public exposure because it causes me anxiety and it’s not for me.”
Given the nature of the accusations against the former Juventus defender, it is not surprising to see why there has been a lot of media interest in this particular case, and it has been causing a negative effect on those connected with Dani Alves. Perhaps the most affected by these allegations has been his wife, and it is not surprising to see why she is trying to take a break from the negative attention she has received recently.

Dani Alves reportedly part of Barcelona shirt trafficking in prison
Following Dani Alves’ arrest after allegations of sexual assault emerged, the former Barcelona player has been part of a trafficking business behind bars. The Brazilian has been “well received” by the prisoners, and reports emerge that the demand for his signed Blaugrana shirts have “quadrupled” since his arrival.
The 2007 and 2019 Copa America champion has been requested to sign Barcelona shirts belonging to the inmates’ family, which are transported through couriers into the prison.
According to reports, there has been such a huge increase in demand for the former Barcelona man’s shirts that an inmate has been given the proper authorization to collect the Blaugrana shirts across the prison. The prisoner charges commissions from the other inmates for the signings, generally products available in the prison store.
Dani Alves was an icon for the Catalans during his time at Camp Nou, and hence, it is no surprise to see him well-received even in the prisons of the city, despite the nature of his crime. However, should that all change if he is found guilty is anyone’s guess.
