“You made history,” Kylian Mbappe sends a wholesome message to Achraf Hakimi after France knocked out Morocco from the 2022 FIFA World Cup
Kylian Mbappe with Achraf Hakimi
France marched on towards their dream of a consecutive FIFA World Cup win. They aspire to become the only nation after Brazil in 1966 to retain their title. France’s star man Kylian Mbappe has been the driving force for Les Bleus. He has scored five times in Qatar and has led his side to victory. Mbappe encountered his friend and club teammate, Achraf Hakimi, in the Semi-finals match against Morocco, and the battle amongst them in the right-wing produced some moments of the game.
The two players collided with each other more than just a couple of times and chased each other down in the tussle of one scoring and the other defending. Kylian Mbappe later, via his Twitter account, shared good thoughts and words for his friend whose team made history by becoming the very first African nation to play in the World Cup semifinals. “Don’t be sad, bro; everybody is proud of what you did; you made history,” Said the PSG winger.
The two players in the game swapped each other’s shirts and wore them back to the front so the player’s name appeared on the chest. This shows the healthy relationship they both share on and off the pitch. There’s no bad blood between the two excellent talents who, with all their power, were pushing for their national sides to victory.
The relationship between the players has been envied by many, as they both belong to PSG, and post-World Cup, they’ll both fight for their dream of winning the UCL title together. Both players come across as healthy minds, and there won’t be any sign of trouble between the two after they go back home and play the club football; whether the Frenchman wins the Golden trophy or not, it’s all cool between Achraf and him.
Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi are partners beyond the pitch
The Camaraderie between Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi is well-known and discussed. From their cool and funky celebrations in PSG or winning selfies and photos together, they gell quite well with each other. With Achraf Hakimi being the providing force for the Parisians and Mbappe as the sealing power, they both go hand in hand to find victories together.
Kylian Mbappe tweeted “ACHRAF HAKIMI” as soon as the Moroccan star took the penalty that qualified Morocco for the quarterfinals of the World Cup. The tweet was accompanied by three emojis: A king’s crown, a heart with fingers, and a penguin. Yes, a penguin because the Moroccan celebrated the winning penalty only a few seconds earlier by imitating the bird, a tribute to the same celebration they often do together at PSG.
