Manchester United’s Casemiro spotted enjoying coffee with wife on streets of Cheshire ahead of PL clash against Liverpool

Star midfielder Casemiro and his wife Anna Mariana Casemiro were spotted getting a coffee in Cheshire this afternoon just days before a crucial match against rivals Liverpool in the Premier League.

Casemiro has been arguably one of the best defensive midfielders of his generation. He has been one of the standout performers for Manchester United controlling the midfield and has been crucial in the club’s revival after lacklustre performances in previous seasons. They currently stand 3rd in the Premier League, 10 points clear of Liverpool who they will play against.

Recently, United boss Erik ten Hag paid special tribute to Casemiro, along with fellow veterans Raphael Varane and David de Gea, following their 2-0 win over Newcastle at Wembley on Sunday. “They know how to win trophies,’ the United manager said. ‘You need them on the pitch to organise the team, especially mentally and they have a winning attitude that they bring into the dressing room,” said the United boss.

Rashford also praised his team-mate Casemiro. “He makes a huge difference,” the England striker said. “His leadership and experience is huge for us and when he’s on the pitch you feel that sense of security behind us.

However, he seems to have in a casual mood as he was spotted with his wife relaxing just days before the next match. Ten Hag is also known to be a strict and disciplined coach who calls the players two days prior to training. The Red Devils will hope it will not affect his performances and hope to keep their good run of form till the end.

Manchester United defeated Newcastle United 2-0 in the Carabao Cup to claim their first major title in six years. They clinched the win despite Newcastle dominating the match stats. United barely had any of the ball but took their chances when they got the opportunity. The Red Devils have bounced back under former Ajax boss Erik Ten Hag and are doing incredibly well in the Premier League given their form in previous seasons. They will hope to take this winning mentality to the other domestic competitions and the Europa League where they have the opportunity to win more titles after a long wait and a huge spending spree in the previous transfer windows.
