Lionel Messi’s brother, Mathias Messi, has spoken about the possibility of returning to FC Barcelona on a Twitch live stream. Messi’s contract with PSG has not been renewed, and there are speculations that the former Barcelona star may return.
“We are not going to return to Barcelona, and if we do, we are going to do a good cleanout. Among them, kicking out Joan Laporta, ungrateful with all that Messi gave to Barcelona,” Leo’s brother stated. He also added, “People in Barcelona did not support Leo. They should have done a march or something. Let Laporta leave, and Messi stay. Spanish people are traitors. I’m telling you this because I want you to hear it from us, not somewhere else.”
Matias Messi claimed that he is fed up with Joan Laporta and the Barcelona supporters. Laporta vowed to sign Messi but could not do so, shocking the football world. He continued, “Barcelona became known thanks to Messi. Nobody knew about them before. Whoever’s had the chance to go to Barcelona and see the museum, you can see that the museum is Messi.”
Messi departed Barcelona in 2021 to join PSG, where he has shined. After leaving Barcelona, Messi won the World Cup and has 15 goals and 14 assists in all competitions. Therefore, he might win his ninth Ballon d’Or by the end of this season. PSG will now play Bayern Munich in their quest for their first Champions League title next week.

PSG was knocked from the French Cup
PSG was eliminated from the Coupe de France after losing to Marseille on Wednesday. Fans are upset because Lionel Messi and Neymar did not perform well against Marseille. Fans are concerned since they will play Bayern Munich next week.
“We made a few mistakes that cost us dearly. It’s a defeat that hurts because it’s a Cup match against our great rivals. We wanted to come back to Paris with victory and qualification. We have to do better, keep working and move forward,” said Marquinhos in the post-match interview. Kylian Mbappe has been absent since he was injured last week and is expected to be sidelined for three weeks.
PSG showed no urgency to equalize against Marseille, instead passing the ball beyond the penalty area in the final minutes. PSG will now concentrate on the UCL and the league since they have some crucial games to determine their season.
