Cristiano Ronaldo has found his way back to the training sessions of his former club Real Madrid. The veteran striker paid his old friends a visit in Saudi Arabia today ahead of their clash against arch-rivals FC Barcelona. The two clubs will be facing each other in hopes to clinch the Super Copa trophy on Sunday.
The Portuguese striker did not miss the opportunity to say hello to some of his old pals from Spain while they were in Saudi Arabia. He also took time to click pictures with young players like Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr., and Eder Militao. Cristiano might have also motivated the players for the final that is to be played against the Catalans on Sunday.
Cristiano Ronaldo left the club as their top scorer. He decided to move to Italy to play for Juventus four years ago as he wanted a new challenge in his career. Fair to say, things have been going downhill ever since the striker decided to leave Los Blancos. Many fans still reminisce about his time in La Liga and wished for the king’s return to the club.
Real Madrid will be competing for their first title of the season against arch-rivals FC Barcelona. The Super Copa tournament is held on neutral grounds away from Spain. As the competition is taking place in Saudi Arabia which is why Ronaldo gets to meet his old folks. According to reports, Real Madrid has also invited the star to attend the Super Copa final at the King Fahd International Stadium.

Although, he doesn’t seem affected by public opinion, and looked happy while linking up with his old club.
