The Wanda Nara–Mauro Icardi controversy is just one of the few couples involved in controversial stories in football. The Argentine model expressed whether, after the affair that her husband had with China Suarez, another Argentine model, she managed to leave the past behind and forgive her.
The Argentine model and striker have been subjects of disputes now starting way over a decade since her relationship with Icardi while married to his teammate Maxi Lopez. The entire country was against them when the affair came into the limelight prompting him to be excluded from the national team despite his wonderful performances.
A little more than a year passed after the controversial affair of China Suárez with Mauro Icardi, and the commotion that was generated at that time. There were speculations of her divorce from the ex-PSG striker and the possibility of a third marriage. However, Wanda has brushed off those speculations and claims they have reconciled.
She was asked if she also forgave China to which she replied, “That seems like a lot to me already. Mauro is my family, we cannot compare”, indicating her feud with the model is still not over and we may see some disputes later.

How is Mauro Icardi doing in Galatasaray so far with on-and-off visits by Wanda Nara?
Mauro Icardi was considered to be one of the fearsome strikers in Serie A and Europe and had the potential to do even better. However, personal issues overturned his fortunes and the player is now playing at Galatasaray in the Super Lig. His career has fallen off a cliff considering European Giants were interested in attaining his services, with clubs like Manchester United in the past.
The player has been doing well in Turkey with his 9 goals and 6 assists in 14 appearances. However, a disastrous earthquake halted the competition for a brief period before resuming. His team currently stands top of the table 9 points clear of the second spot but Fenerbahce still has two games at hand. With 13 matches remaining, the Argentine will hope to win the league before returning to his parent club PSG.
Galatasaray faces Qarabag FK next Sunday after their match against Kayserispor was postponed due to earthquake problems. Icardi will hope to create an impact if they are to keep their title hopes alive this season.
