Spanish giants Real Madrid are preparing a financial package worth £292 million to secure the services of both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe, according to reports.
According to Marca, Real Madrid are trying to secure a deal with Erling Haaland and Kyllian Mbappe as soon as possible given the vast amount of interest in their services.
That includes the £63million transfer fee – thought to be a release clause that kicks in this summer at Dortmund – alongside the player’s wages and the commission that would be demanded by Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola.
Further reports suggest that the Norwegian striker’s representative will push for him penning an extensive six-year contract at his next club, with the sizable wage packet being spread over the course of such a commitment.

“He[Erling Haaland] will not leave in January.” – Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke
Erling Haaland has scored an astonishing 78 goals in 77 games in all competitions for Dortmund since moving to the Bundesliga in January from RB Salzburg in 2020, making him the most desirable commodity in Football. This explains why Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has made sure that Erling Haaland doesn’t leave this winter window.

In an interview with Der Spiegel via MarcaWatzke said: “Who would give one of the best strikers in Europe away in the winter market if they didn’t have to?
‘He will not leave in January. Dortmund is still in three competitions and we want to compete with the best teams.
‘Of course, it’ll be difficult to retain him. However, we want to and we’ll try. Haaland will not leave in January, but in summer it will be difficult to keep him.’
Real Madrid are the favourites to land the Norwegian superstar along with the signing of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Mbappe is out of contract in the French capital this summer and has been allowed to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with clubs outside of France since the start of the month. Since Real Madrid do not have to pay any transfer fee for the Mbappe transfer, one can understand why the Los Blancos side can afford the huge £292m transfer package.
