“Can’t wait for the new season” Lando Norris eagerly waiting for the 2022 season to get underway

Lando Norris the McLaren Formula1 driver is very much looking forward to the start of another mouth-watering Formula1 season after performing really well during his 2021 campaign.
It has been stated in GPblog that during 2022 it is expected that McLaren is going to fight at the front end of the grid and Lando himself has said that he is hoping for exciting races during the 2022 season.
If this is anything to go by, it seems that the McLaren drivers are ready for the battle to begin in Bahrain and have their eyes set on challenging the top dogs of the sport and giving their absolute best for their team.

During the 2021 season, Lando was able to finish sixth in the constructor’s standing where he showed the world his caliber and also on occasions was able to go up against the lights of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

After the first testing of the season, it is quite safe to say that it is going to be a four-way battle for the championship this time around with teams like Ferrari, Mercedes, RedBull, and McLaren all putting good performances during first pre-season testing.

Moreover, it is believed that the new regulations are going to allow cars to race in close quarters to each other and this is going to bode well for drivers like Lando who doesn’t shy away when it comes to overtaking a fellow rival. Lando is also believed to be looking forward to the fast tracks that they are going to go to during the 2022 season.
“I look forward to the high-speed circuits which we’ll be going to.”

“That’s obviously the type of corners where you tend not to be able to follow so much over the last few years. You should be able to follow much closer on those types of tracks and it should prove to be good racing and exciting for everyone to watch.”

Lando is all geared up for the 2022 season and come the 18th of this month we all are going to get a good idea about how well the McLaren team have developed their car and if they and Lando would to able to challenge teams like Mercedes, RedBull and, Ferrari who are also looking in good shape ahead of the 2022 season.
