Red Bull driver Max Verstappen clinched his first Formula One Drivers Championship title in 2021. The Dutchman won the title after an epic duel with Mercedes’s Lewis Hamilton whom he overtook in the last lap of the last race in Abu Dhabi to claim his maiden title.

Since the finale in Abu Dhabi, the title defence of Verstappen has generated much interest amongst the pundits and fans alike. With many claiming the controversial title win, resurgent Hamilton and new regulations to be a major disadvantage for the Dutchman.

But Alpine driver and 2 time former World Champion Fernando Alonso thinks otherwise. According to the Spaniard, Verstappen will have “more fun” after “accomplishing a dream” and says he should be comfortable and focused. on his races.
