“I Want to Have a Fast Car”: Pierre Gasly Unsatisfied After Red Bull Snub in 2022

Pierre Gasly
Safe to say that, French driver Pierre Gasly is one of the most improved and impressive drivers of the current generation at least in the 2021 Formula 1 season. Having performed brilliantly even with a lacklustre AlphaTauri, Pierre Galsy gave his all to Red Bull and the concerned authorities to be able to put forward his claim to race for the Austrian team in 2022.
However, as things turned out, it was Sergio Perez only who found his way in Red Bull until 2022. This left Galsy disappointed after being snubbed even when he has been one of the best performers, who has even helped AlphaTauri fight against the likes of Ferrari and McLaren.
What was Opinionated by Pierre Gasly?

“I wonder why,” he responded when asked by Sky F1 pundit Nico Rosberg why Red Bull did not take him. “There were discussions and I think they were really happy with my performance, but obviously there is not only this into the [consideration]. You know, like me, how difficult it is. They made their decision.”
Galsy added, “Obviously it was a small disappointment for me because that’s where I want to be. I want to have a fast car. I’m not saying AlphaTauri… you know, give me a really strong car.

“It was up to them. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen in the future, but for sure next year I’m not going to drive there.”
With all respect to AlphaTauri, Galsy does have a point as he has constantly been able to fight against the top drivers in top 10. But does Red Bull’s move for 2022 makes sense, that remains to be seen as the drama on the race track unfolds in the coming weeks.
