Formula 1: Lando Norris Got Mugged After EURO 2020 Wembley Final As per McLaren

When Italy won the Euro 2020 Silverware after 53 years beating England via a penalty shoot-out, all hell seem to have broken lose as the disgruntled British fans left the Wembley Stadium. With a massive brawl started right outside the stadium, there will multiple clips surfacing on the internet which showed some English football fans behaving in a violent manner. As per the latest reports, McLaren’s ace F1 driver, Lando Norris too had to face the heat of it. 

British media reported the watch was worth 40,000 pounds and was taken as he approached his McLaren sportscar. Norris is friendly with several of the England players who lost the final on penalties after extra time ended 1-1. The driver is fourth in the respective standings and has been on the podium three times so far this season.

The team added in a statement the 21-year-old had his watch stolen. “Thankfully, Lando was unharmed but he is understandably shaken,” the team added. “The team is supporting Lando and we are sure that racing fans will join us in wishing him all the best for the British Grand Prix this weekend.”

Police made some 53 arrests at Wembley Stadium after supporters clashed with each other and officials, breached security cordons and charged into the perimeter area before the start of the match.

Knowing that sporting superstars all around the world are connected, Norris went to the support his friends as they had a chance to re-write the name of the three lions in their backyard. But as things stand, it seems like the some of the British fans really couldn’t handle the trophy going to Rome, rather than home.
