Max Verstappen and Toto Wolff
Max Verstappen has surely been one driver who has put Mercedes and its drivers hard to sleep. Especially after pulling off a hard-fought and valiant victory against the reigning champion Lewis Hamilton. However, before the battle began on the race track, Mercedes decided to have some fun with Red Bull and its ace driver Max Verstappen.
To those who are not aware upon the Mercedes’ troll of Verstappen and Red Bull. It was spotted at or around the 20-turn, 3.427-mile road course in Austin. There was a Mercedes vehicle but hilariously with “Red Bull” text written on the side, plus a Verstappen “33” toward the back. So naturally, the team “confirmed” Max Verstappen.
Mercedes Trolls Red Bull and Max Verstappen
Just days before the start of the US Grand Prix, Red Bull took a shot at Mercedes and its boss Toto Wolff indicating that he should have join the team and how iconic it was that he was wearing a Red Bull Racing jacket.
Having said that, it won’t be the ace Dutchman at Mercedes. In fact, courtesy to the set to be a new arrival at Mercedes, George Russell, he current Williams driver is set to replace the Alfa Romeo-bound Valtteri Bottas alongside Hamilton in 2022.
Apart from that as the 2021 Formula 1 action moves onto Mexican GP, Hamilton has to do everything in his power in order to stop Verstappen, if he was to break Michael Schumacher’s record. Will he able to achieve it? Remains to be seen. \
