The end of the 2021 Formula 1 season is getting extremely heated and exciting, as the title fight simmers down to the last three races. The conclusion of the Brazilian GP leads to the last of the triple header weekend, where drivers make their way to the Qatar Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen went wheel to wheel during the Brazilian GP and needless to say, sparks flew. Hamilton had a fantastic drive as he made his way from P10 to first place after receiving penalty for a technical infringement. Toto Wolff however, was furious about the penalty, saying that it was quite harsh and went on to point out that Red Bull were allowed to repair their rear wing in parc fermé in the United States and Mexico.

The only time teams are allowed to adjust parts is when the race committee sees that there are permanent defects in the car. So there’s a lot that goes into it. So no, I don’t think there’s any inconsistency at all,” he added.

The emotions between the teams and the fans are now running high as the title fight gets closer. He concluded by saying, “Every competitor, every driver, is treated equally and fairly at all times. Obviously, if you’re on the receiving end of a penalty, I think everyone feels unfairly treated. So that’s part of being in the role that we are.”
