Sergio Perez is willing to do everything to help Max Verstappen secure maiden world championship
Lewis and Max
We are just a few days away from the mega Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and Sergio Perez has told the GP blog that ” I think we can support him well” this weekend. He is well aware that RedBull is on the verge of creating history with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez has vowed to do everything in his power to make sure Max is the one who stands on the top step at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The excitement levels are going off the charts as fans all over the world are eagerly waiting for the last race of the season and it is going to be absolutely crucial that RedBull are able to keep their nerves under control come this Sunday. Otherwise, it could end in heartbreak for Max and RedBull.
Sergio Perez suggesting to maximize Max Verstappen’s title hopes
The last race is just around the corner and it is time to buckle up and let the car do the talking on the track as far as Max is concerned. It has been some time since we last saw a battle that went down to the last race of the season with both drivers level on points.
Max being a young driver has the knack of sometimes getting into unnecessary battles on the track which has led to him getting knocked out of the race. If he wants the title, he has to make sure that he is able to avoid unnecessary battles on the track and do his quick maneuvers when the opportunity arrives during the race. The same goes for his teammate whose duty would be to stay as close as possible to Max and try to keep both the Mercedes behind as much as possible.
Last Hurdle
Max and RedBull have crossed many hurdles so far this season and have managed to come out trumps against Mercedes. Now it is all about managing to do it just one more time. They have put a lot of sweat and determination this season in reaching the levels that they are at currently and it is going to be quite poetic if they are able to cross the Final hurdle between them and the driver’s championship.
But that hurdle is no ordinary hurdle, the name of the hurdle is Lewis Hamilton, the former 7-time world champion. He has been intense situations many a time in his career and this weekend it would be no different. He is very adept at handling pressure and knows how to perform at big stages. So it is going to be an extremely tight battle and for Max, if he is to win his first drivers championship, he has to bring out his A-game this weekend at the Yas Marina Circuit.
