“That’s tantamount to bullying,” Christian Horner accuses Mercedes in the wake of FIA’s sacking of Michael Masi

Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner has voiced his opinion about Michael Masi’s removal by the FIA. Red Bull and Mercedes were on opposite sides of the spectrum after the controversy in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Max Verstappen came out trumps after defeating Lewis Hamilton in a title clinching race.
Max Verstappen’s victory wasn’t the highlight of the race after Michael Masi’s string of controversial decisions. The decisions were debatable as Michael Masi decided to take matter in his own hands to give it a dramatic finish while the law took the back seat. Michael Masi was removed and repositioned after his mistakes. Understandably, Red Bull was not in favor of the decision and Mercedes vice-versa.
But the onslaught hasn’t ended even after Michael Masi’s removal as the two teams continue to trade blows in different interviews. Mercedes’ and Toto Wolff’s behavior has definitely been questionable. Michael Masi has paid the heftiest of price for his mistakes but continuously blaming a person for a mistake that was made under immense pressure is unjustified and is borderline bullying.
Christian Horner makes it clear that he will not tolerate any sort of bullying in this sport as he shows concern about Michael Masi’s mental health

It’s about time for Mercedes and Toto Wolff to take it in his stride, move on and concentrate on the challenges that lie in front of him. But the acts of the team Principal hasn’t been well received by Christian Horner, especially, as he publicly criticizes him and accuses him of bullying.
Christian Horner said, “Yes, Michael did make mistakes and it was frustrating, but you have to look at the role that he was in and the tools that he had at his disposal.”
“You can’t just place the blame on Michael. It’s unfair to do that.”
“But what it is unforgivable is the trolling, the abuse online, the death threats that he and his family had. “That has nothing to do with the sport.”
“I will always stand up for someone who is being bullied. Bullying is not acceptable.” As reported by BBC.
Christian Horner has made his stance pretty clear about Toto Wolff’s bullying of Michael Masi by continuously putting a target on his back. We need to understand that it’s just a sport and errors are a part of it and this kind of behavior cannot be justified at any cost.
