The Macarena dance is a Rare Fortnite Emote from the Icon Series. This emote was added at Fortnite Battle Royale on 19 June 2021 in Chapter 2 Season 7. It has released in the Fortnite Store on 19 June 2021 and is available in the shop. Dance The Macarena can be purchased right now from Fortnite Item Shop for 500 V-Bucks.

The dance is not the complete song itself, rather an excerpt from the chorus of it in a loop. The skin that we have equipped will perform the dance whenever we want once we buy it. Previously, Epic had accidentally leaked one of its encrypted emotes. The unreleased “Macarena” emote had been added to the Content Creator Asset folder.

This item will remain for a limited time in the Fortnite Battle Royale store. It may come back to the store later, and players can use this dance smoothly in all modes of Fortnite game, including Battle Royale, Creative, and Save the World.

This item is cosmetic and hence it does not affect the game in any way beyond being a visual modification that also entertains us with its music and the movements of our character when performing the dance.
