“He doesn’t want this smoke”- Francis Ngannou shrugs off a potential fight against Jake Paul should his contract with UFC fall through

Francis Ngannou sat with TMZ Sports to talk about his upcoming fight with Ciryl Gane, a fight in which he is considered to be the underdog, and also had a few words to say about ‘The Problem Child’.
‘The Predator’, currently UFC’s heavyweight champion and considered by many as the ‘Baddest Man in the World’ will be headlining UFC 270 main event taking place in the Honda Center, California on Jan 22nd, 2022.
When asked about a situation wherein he doesn’t extend his contract and takes up boxing as a career would he consider taking a Jake Paul fight from which he could make a lot of money, Ngannou replied, “No. There’s not the same thing bro. It’s not the same generation. Even if I go out there for boxing, it’s not to box Jake Paul you know.”
He however did praise Paul as he said that he was expecting Woodley to win, but Jake impressed him and now he needs to be taken seriously as a boxer as he made a huge statement and proved that he puts his money where his mouth is.
“He’s not my level,” Francis Ngannou isn’t impressed by Jake Paul
Ngannou said that though he was impressed by Paul’s knockout win over Tyron Woodley, he isn’t at the champ’s level.
“He’s not as good as he might be. He’s not my level. He’s not my weight class first of all“, said Ngannou on TMZ Sports. “I might have what – maybe 80 to 100 pounds over him. You know, it’s not the same thing. He doesn’t want this smoke.”
Ngannou isn’t wrong at all when he says Jake Paul isn’t his level as both are comparatively much different in terms of weight and height, and if he does have that much power as they say he does, then Jake will definitely not be looking to fight someone as dangerous as Francis Ngannou.
