Collin Morikawa is a professional golf player coming from the USA. He is known for constantly achieving milestones for his country. He is 25 years old and is known for his exceptional talent in the field.

Currently, he is playing golf on PGA Tour and Europe Tour. He was keen on golf during his university days and played golf from 2015 to 2019 at the University of California. Even during his amateur career, he won five championships, including Pac-12 Conference in 2019.

He has been titled with many other awards apart from university championships, including the Northeast Amateur golf tournament, Arnold Amateur golf competition, Sunnnehanna Amateur tournament, etc.

Collin won Walker Trophy in 2017; the following year, Eisenhower Trophy made his name as the top-ranked golf player World Amateur Golf Ranking in 2018. In 2019, he received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

He made $27,638 in ZZo Championship (PGA,) and has earned $65,730 for THE CJ CUP in South Carolina (PGA). At WorldWide Technology Championship at Mayakoba (PGA), $129,150 for Hero World Challenge (PGA), and Sentry Tournaments Championship (PGA) got him $1,500,000; at the Farmer Insurance Open, he earned $600,300.

His earnings for the current year are $2,442,818. With over $20.5 million in revenues, he currently ranks in the top 80 on the PGA Tour’s all-time money list. According to Celebrity Net Worth, in 2023, Morikawa has a net worth of $6 million.

In 2019, Collin Morikawa debuted as a professional golfer in RBC Canadian Open, he secured 14th place there. Got second position at the 3M Open and 4th place at John Deere Classic.

After that finish, he got to play in PGA Tour for the season of 2019-2020 and later he won the PGA Tour championship defeating Troy Merrit at Barracuda Championship in California.

He won 5 PGA Tour Championships victories and earned 4 Europe Tour victories. The golfer also became the Race to Dubai winner, he was the first golfer from the USA to win World Championship in Dubai.

He achieved the race to Dubai award in the DP World Championship and become the third youngest 23 years old golfer to win the PGA Tour championship and also 4th golfer to achieve the championship in PGA Tour before turning 24 years old. 

For the second time in his career, he finished in the top five and ranked in the 4th position at the U.S. Open. Morikawa made victory and received Workday Charity Open in his second PGA TOUR in his 26th start.

He achieved another milestone and made history by becoming the first golfer after Tiger Woods who won twice before missing cuts. Won the first two rounds and went into the final round.

Morikawa is a successful golfer who has many known great sponsors like Adidas, he associated with Adidas in 2019 which is probably his biggest contract as an amateur.

The golfer is also associated with TaylorMade which he signed in 2019 but the contract worth is not known. Morikawa also endorses KPMG, Omega, and Zurich Insurance after his great victory in PGA Tour Championship in 2020.

Collin and his wife Katherine Zhu live in Las Vegas, Nevada USA with their pet dog. They often post pictures of their house and with furry babies. Morikawa’s parents are immigrants from China and Japan to the United States. Morikawa’s family is settled in Las Vegas.
