‘The schedule is very appealing’ – Adam Scott explores LIV Golf prospect, despite being unwilling to give up on his PGA Tour dream
Adam Scott
Adam Scott unfurled on his choice to stick with the PGA Tour instead of jumping the ship to hop onto the cash-rich Saudi PIF-backed LIV Golf Circuit stating that “he’s not ready to give up on his dream of winning multiple majors”. The Australian however sees LIV Golf as an attractive choice.
LIV Golf and its CEO Greg Norman have been poaching around the block for big names. And they have even succeeded in clawing a number of high-profile players to build brand value for LIV Golf which has a different team-based format as compared to the individualistic nature of the PGA tour.

Adam Scott opens up on why he isn’t ready yet to join LIV
Adam Scott was courted by reporters and journalists at the Quail Hollow Club where he is competing in his 10th Presidents Cup. The big question before him was about his ‘allegiance’ to PGA Tour, to which the Aussie replied that “he isn’t ready yet”.
Although he suggested that his decision is not set in stone and could change depending on future circumstances. But it seems like Greg Norman would have to wait for quite some time yet as Adam Scott is intent on adding more majors to his belt.
“I’ve focused on the majors really for 20 years and, for me, it hasn’t been an overnight decision to say, ‘well, my mind changes now after 20 years,’” Scott stated.
Adam Scott in the meantime has driven more into PGA Tour and its details. He has joined a group of 20 select people with Tiger Wood at its helm to evolve strategies to counter LIV Golf. Adam Scott is quite content being a part of the PGA Tour when asked about it. “Why I’m still with the PGA Tour is because it suits me best to still be on the PGA Tour,” Scott made a statement at the Presidents Cup.
