Good for them that Chairman of Masters and Augusta National Fred Ridley allowed the participation of all golfers irrelative to their organization’s backing. He stated that this Masters event will stage all the best golfers in the world. It’ll be an extraordinary event no doubt. Both PGA and LIV will take the same stage. It’ll be the first since the inception of the Saudi-backed tour.

The event will be held on April 7, 2023, with Scottie Scheffler reigning the Champion title. In a statement released, Fred noted, “Regrettably, recent actions have divided men’s professional golf by diminishing the virtues of the game and the meaningful legacies of those who built it.”

“Our focus is to honor the tradition of bringing together a preeminent field of golfers. Therefore, as invitations are sent this week, we will invite those eligible under our current criteria to compete in the 2023 Masters Tournament.”
