In recent times, legendary American golfer Tiger Woods has seemed to be a shadow of himself. While many factors have led to a dip in form, Woods has been struggling with injuries. To add, in 2021, the 46-year-old met with a horrific car accident that could have led to his leg being amputated. Even though Woods recovered from the accident with his leg safe, the golfer hasn’t been able to perform at his best.
When the news of Tiger Woods’ accident broke, the world sympathized with him. Even after recovery, not seeing Woods able to perform at his best left fans disappointed. But, there is one person in the world who does not seem to have any empathy towards Woods, and that person is none other than Ashley Perez, the wife of LIV Golfer Pat Perez.
In an Instagram post, Golf Balling shared a video of Woods in which the 46-year-old spoke about his limitations after the accident. While many expressed positive reactions to Woods in the comments, Ashley Perez used this opportunity to take a shot at the golfer. In the comments section, she said, “Literally why driving under the influence is ILLEGAL. I don’t feel bad for him. Thank god he didn’t kill anyone. See ya.”
Well, it seems as if Perez is not entirely correct in her assessment of Woods’s accident. Because upon further investigation, it was revealed that Woods was not under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicant when the accident occurred. However, Ashley’s comments are not surprising as she is not the only Perez to have blasted Woods.

Pat Perez recently bashed golf legend, Tiger Woods
Ashley Perez’s comments towards Tiger Woods are not a surprise as her husband Pat Perez slammed the 15-time champion previously. Perez’s comments about Woods came after the latter questioned players’ incentives if they became a part of LIV Golf.
Unlike LIV Golf, the PGA offers every golfer a guaranteed amount of cash regardless of the result. “But what these players are doing for guaranteed money, what is the incentive to practice?” said Woods. These comments by the player were not taken lightly by Perez.
Despite playing over 20 seasons on the PGA Tour, Pat Perez disagreed with Tiger Woods. Currently playing on the LIV Golf Tour, Perez labeled Woods’ statements as the ‘stupidest’ thing he ever heard. “That’s the stupidest s**t I have ever heard of in my life. That’s one of the stupidest things I think he has said. The incentive is the fact that last place is 120,000, first place is four million. You cannot win four million on the PGA Tour,” said Perez.
Further, Perez spoke about the money Woods made while playing Golf while also questioning his absence from certain events. However, towards the end, Pat Perez was appreciative of Tiger Woods. Regardless of what he thinks, the American mentioned that Woods is ‘worth every dime.’ Even though Woods has not replied to Perez’s statements, fans will be interested to see if he speaks about it in the future.
