Tiger Woods and Bryson DeChambeau
Bryson DeChambeau recently made it to the headlines for an unprecedented mishap that spread like wildfire among the trolls with negative reactions over his moving to the LIV amidst all the controversy.
As hard as it sounds, even after being at the center of the storm, Bryson has kept his calm. He is hopeful of making strides in his career. He is delighted at being a part of LIV Golf and determined to take on the new challenge.
However, the height of all the positivity is his gratefulness for Tiger Woods. He says, “I have ultimate respect for the PGA Tour and what they’ve done for my career, as I’ve said it from day one, and they’ve allowed me this opportunity.”
Ever since LIV’s beginning, the golfing world has seen two emerging poles — one in favor and the other against. Even fans and golf-heads have joined the debate on social media and other platforms to voice their views.
Some say that LIV will destroy golf’s cultural ethos and identity with its attractive marketing and hefty purses for players who don’t even win.

Bryson DeChambeau set to take on LIV Golf
Dechambeau is among the manifold professional golfers who jumped ship from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf. His moving over to an event backed by Saudi Arabia’s PIF-backed premier golfing event has raised eyebrows. That has been the case with the LIV from the beginning.
Bryson thanking Tiger Woods for helping create LIV Golf came as a surprise shock to the golfing world. He stated “I have no buyer’s remorse,” he said. “I have ultimate respect for the PGA Tour and what they’ve done for my career, as I’ve said it from day one, and they’ve allowed me this opportunity.”
A different game format from PGA Tour featuring team events, LIV Golf is different from the conservative traditional games and maybe that is what attracted the big names. Bryson said “I would say, from a team aspect, it is sad that those governing bodies have not allowed us to be able to qualify.”
“That’s all I can say about that. I want to play in numerous events on the PGA Tour. It would be awesome. That’s what LIV Golf has tried — they have allowed us to play on the PGA Tour. It’s the PGA Tour barring us from doing so.”
