Is Tiger Woods retiring?
Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods appeared in a press conference, stepping down from the Hero World Challenge, throwing light on his fragile condition and his longtime ordeal, post his horrendous accident. Did it seem like he’s hinting at retirement soon? He said he needs a lot of rest, pointing toward the end of his legendary career.
Tiger Woods had two surgeries following a 50-50 chance of his leg being amputated. He is currently suffering from plantar fasciitis in the right foot and is unable to continue playing.
However, Tiger Woods has talked about golf’s future, trying to mend ways for the storm that hit the Tour with the LIV Golf breakaway circuit. At this point, Tiger’s discontinuation seems out of question, however, changes to his course of action can be well anticipated.

Tiger Woods commits on stretch and relaxing to keep going for good
At a recent press conference, Tiger Woods said, “I can still hit any shot you want… just not walk!” this seems impressive when viewed from the sporting prism. His condition is not frivolous but he chooses to keep going on the course with everything that he has left. Tiger is set to play ‘The MATCH’, teaming up with Rory Mcllroy.
As per Yahoo Sports, he’s retiring soon, “The goal is to play just the major championships and maybe one or two more. That’s it. I mean, that’s physically, that’s all I can do.”
“I realize myself I am not going to be a player for much longer. But I think it’s more important that we recognize the past and build a better future,” he said before the PNC Championship where the father-son duo would be seen teeing off together.
He mentioned resorting to the “stretch and relax” routine before he comes to the golf course again. He also hinted at appearing only for the Majors, saying, “The goal is to play just the major championships and maybe one or two more. That’s it.” He mentioned that it is the only physical potential he has left now, and our hearts are aching, hoping the day doesn’t come around sooner than we think.
