American actor and sports sponsor Mark Wahlberg is currently fit enough to play 18 holes in just over an hour and regularly practices with legendary golfer Bubba Watson. All this while wearing his favourite Rory McIlroy zipper dress at a major golf course that he himself owns, according to GolfDigest magazine.
The 51-year-old actor is able to still perform such incredible feats due to his impressive cardio routine, according to latest revelations.
Mark Wahlberg reveals his unbelievable golf schedule
In a 2016 interview, Wahlberg had disclosed his exact golfing schedule. “I would tee off at 6 in the morning and run the golf course,” had said, adding “We’d hit a drive and then just sprint to the ball and then the [caddies] would come with the carts. We’d grab a club, hit again and then sprint again.”
“We’d play all 18 in about an hour fifteen, maybe 1:20. Depended on the putting,” he ended by saying. According to latest estimates, Wahlberg’s net worth is said to be around $400 million. He has a sports nutrition line deal with GNC called ‘Marked’.
Interestingly, before becoming a famous actor, Wahlberg used to earn money from hustling, stealing, and selling drugs. In 2019, the actor also invested $110 million in F45, which is a Texas-based fitness company owning fitness centers throughout the world.
Wahlberg has also been making a lot of appearances in the WWE in recent times. He recently challenged Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and John Cena in a match partnering Kevin Hart at WrestleMania 39. The plot includes slander using film projects done and fame amassed by all these superstars who have made several brief comebacks to the wrestling arena after foraying into Hollywood.
In fact, Cena was himself recently quoted as saying, “There’s always been comparisons to Wahlberg and I think he would be a very impressive WWE superstar.”
