The time after her appearance, Paige appeared in an interview, sharing her opinion about the comments coming her way. “When it comes to the golf industry, I know that people see me as a gimmick,” Spiranac said. “I don’t think I am. If I was a guy and I had the same social following, I don’t think people would call it a gimmick. They’d say it was great.” It’s kind of agreeable that she has indeed proved herself with a consistent presence, her community service, and for being just Paige in her own way.

People seem to think I got where I am because of the clothes that I wear. That’s unfair to me and unfair to all of my accomplishments,” continued Paige. She also mentioned the awful comments that are shot at her, for the way she chooses to dress, saying “For people to say: You only show some cleavage, that’s why you have what you have,’ is unfair. That’s the injustice that we face every day as women and I see it a lot in golf.”

The disapproval during her Dubai Desert Classic invitation included one from Laura Davies, the decorated women’s player who didn’t seem excited by the change. She opened about in her statement, saying, “If she’s here for any other reason than she’s a great golfer, then it’s a little bit pointless.

Paige Spiranac also went vocal about death threats that her family received following her Dubai endeavor. “The people who are saying golf is progressive, if you look at them they all look the same,” she added. It is all definitely applaudable- tackling the world Spiranac way, the tremendous fortitude and courage she chose over everything endured.
