American golfer Scottie Scheffler claimed the top stop in the Comcast Business Tour Top 10 as the 2021-22 FedExCup Regular Season saw its end this weekend.The 26-year-old was rewarded with a bonus of $4 million for an highly impressive season.
“I’m proud of securing the top spot in the Comcast Business TOUR TOP 10 as it represents great competition over the course of a season against the best players in the world,” Scheffler said. Establishing himself as a top golfer, Scottie Scheffler put forward solid performances this season. His first win came in a playoff at the Phoenix Open back in February.
Weeks later, he registered his second win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and third in WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play to take the first spot, just before claiming his biggest victory – the green jacket at the Masters. Scheffler recorded four wins, nine top-10s and 16 top-25 finishes, in 22 starts in the regular season. “This is a great reminder of all the hard work I’ve put in over the years with the support of my family and team.”

The Comcast Business TOUR TOP 10 accentuates players performances by rewarding them – a total of $20 million bonus is shared among the top-10 finishers at the end of the FedExCup Regular Season, based on the standings. “On behalf of Comcast Business, congratulations to Scottie Scheffler for claiming the top spot in this year’s Comcast Business TOUR TOP 10, and to all the outstanding players who clinched a position on the leaderboard,” said Eileen Diskin, CMO, Comcast Business.

Australian Cameron Smith finished at second taking a sum of $3 million while Sam Burns claimed the third spot earning $2.4 million of bonus – in the 2021-22 Comcast Business Tour Top 10 list.
