One of the most anticipated majors for golfing fans, the Masters Tournament marks the beginning of the majors in golf. Last year, Scottie Scheffler won the Masters 2022 and will be looking to defend his Green Jacket at the Augusta National Golf Club this year. This year, the Masters will be hosting its 87th edition and will be broadcasted in over 200 countries.
It is important to note that participation in the Masters has always been through invitations only. The tournament is known to feature one of the smallest fields among all other golf’s major championships. The criteria for being invited to the tournaments include past winners, recent major champions, leading finishers in the previous year’s majors, leading players in the PGA tour, and leading players in the Official World Golf Ranking.
For those wondering about the schedule, dates, and how to watch The Masters 2023, here is a comprehensive guide on the first major championship of golf for this year.
