Trevor Immelman praises the U.S. Team’s fortitude to chase the trophy till the end as they continued to deliver. This was supposed to be the 14th Presidents Cup where the U.S. Team won by a margin of 17.5-12.5 while also being undefeated on their home soil for the 8th time maintaining their streak.

‘When I was made the captain, there was nothing such as a pandemic but we had to get through a lot of hurdles to be at this point,’ the International Team skipper paints an appreciative picture of the team to keep the hopes up. “They played some amazing golf and kept fighting till the end,” said Trevor Immelman.

The International team also accepts the fact that they were more in control in Melbourne while also this particular game was thrilling for the league itself. Weakened by players such as Cameron Smith and Dustin Johnson banned due to their allegiance to LIV’s Golf, the International team definitely showed their grit and determination.

They have had a pretty amazing couple of years as a team and have been committed to playing for the trophy, and that may not have ended as desired but they definitely tooth and nail to put up a great opposition for the U.S. Team. Everything wraps down to an interesting weekend for the golf fans and a continued vigor for the prestigious Presidents Cup.
