Tiger first met Lindsey Vonn in 2012. A few months later, rumors started speculating that the duo was dating. However, Tiger and Lindsey denied those claims and confirmed that they were just friends. Things did take a turn in 2013 when the duo made their relationship public. The fans were in complete awe.
Lindsey Vonn ended her marriage with fellow skier Thoma Vonn in 2011. Four years later, in 2013, their divorce was finalized. This was the same time when Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren split. The duo announced their relationship to the public by posting affectionate pictures.
Their split was indeed unfortunate in 2015. In an interview, Vonn revealed that the real reason behind their breakup was due to their hectic time schedules and lives. It is true that athletes barely get any personal time for themselves, as a majority of their schedule includes participating in tournaments away from their partners. Vonn has addressed her breakup with Tiger Woods in her memoir ‘Rise.’
According to the Sun, Vonn took a slight dig at Tiger Woods while wishing him luck for the tournaments. She said,
“I loved him and we’re still friends. Sometimes I wish he would have listened to me a little more. But he’s very stubborn and he likes his own way. I hope this latest comeback sticks. I hope he goes back to winning tournaments.”
Tiger Woods encountered a horrific motor crash back in 2021, which severely impacted his performance. Lindsey Vonn had wished Woods her regards when he set to return to playing with the Majors in 2022.
Tiger Woods is now dating Erica Herman, and the couple lives together in Woods’ mansion in Florida, USA. He made this relationship public at the President’s Cup in 2017.
